DC Entertinment has announced that Geoff Johns will exit the roles of President and Chief Creative Officer. Johns will remain with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. in a creative capacity, launching his own comic book imprint as well as a film production shingle under Warner Bros.
Johns' DC imprint, The Killing Zone, will "focus on new and lesser known DC characters and titles." Johns will also write a new Shazam! series starting this fall, as well as the just-announced series Three Jokers with art from Jason Fabok.
Under Johns' new film production banner Mad Ghost Productions, Johns will executive produce and write WB's Green Lantern Corps which will be based on Johns' own Green Lantern comic book run, along with producing and writing Wonder Woman 2.
